The Area 419 Improved Scope Rail is a 30 MOA scope base engineered specifically for the CZ455 11mm dovetail (also compatible with the CZ452, excluding the American model with its different dovetail size). It was built to solve a long-standing problem with CZ455 rifles: factory-style dovetail/set-screw bases that slide around over time. This rail is aimed at rimfire shooters pushing their .22 LR rifles to 300 yards and beyond, where a rock-solid, repeatable mounting platform matters.

Machined in-house on Area 419's Haas VF4SS 4-axis center from a single piece of T7075 aluminum, the rail slides onto the CZ455 dovetail and clamps down with consistent force across the entire length so it will not budge under recoil. A rear recoil lug adds a mechanical stop for extra security, and the base includes a built-in bubble level with flared material for a clear view in the prone position. The rail also extends forward for additional optic placement room, helpful when running higher-power scopes with the shorter stocks common on rimfire rifles. It ships Type III black hardcoat anodized with the 2.5mm wrench needed to torque the clamp screws to the recommended 22 in/lb spec.
