Machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum and hard coat anodized per Mil-A-8625F, the mount uses a patented angled-torque (A/T) clamp that applies triangulating force to the picatinny rail for a stronger, more reliable lock-up. Integral recoil lugs help mitigate and counter recoil to preserve zero, while a hardened, nitride-coated steel clamp and nut with a serrated locking spring-washer keep torque from backing off in the field.
