The XS Sights Big Dot Tritium Yellow is a drop-in front sight upgrade for Remington shotguns that use a pedestal-mounted bead, making it a natural fit for a home-defense 870. It pairs a self-illuminating tritium vial with XS’s photoluminescent Glow Dot technology so the huge 0.188″ dot stays visible from bright daylight into total darkness.

The XS Sights Big Dot Tritium Yellow is built for shooters who want their Remington pedestal-bead shotgun ready for low-light defense work. Whether it's mounted on a bedside 870 or a duty gun, this front sight replaces a tiny factory bead with a target reference that's hard to miss under stress.
Big Dot Night Sights are defensive tritium sights designed to enhance a defense gun, using a proprietary photoluminescent Glow Dot that absorbs ambient light and glows in low light. The sights are CNC machined from solid steel bar stock in-house, and the steel surface is blued to resist rusting with a regular cleaning and oil schedule. The kit includes the front sight and an insert with instructions.
This is a smart pick for Remington 870 owners looking to turn a hunting or duty shotgun into a fast-indexing home-defense tool, with the XS Sights Big Dot Tritium Yellow for sale at Loftus Firearms.
