This Laserlyte laser cartridge fits .223 Rem/5.56 NATO chambers and doubles as a dry-fire trainer and bore sighter. Pulling the trigger strikes the built-in snap cap and fires a brief red laser flash, letting shooters practice trigger control or align optics without live ammo.

The Laserlyte Laser Cartridge Trainer is a brass .223 Rem/5.56 NATO training round built for shooters who want to sharpen trigger control or zero their optics without stepping onto a range. Drop it into the chamber of an AR-15 or other .223/5.56 rifle and get instant feedback at home, in the garage, or anywhere it's safe to dry-fire.
When the firing pin strikes the cartridge's built-in rubber snap cap, it triggers a visible Class 3A red laser (650 nm) that flashes on target for one-tenth of a second. Use it as a repeatable dry-fire trainer paired with Laserlyte targets, or as a quick bore sighter to align irons and optics before confirming zero with live fire.
A smart pick for AR-15 owners who want low-cost, no-recoil trigger practice or a fast way to rough in a new optic before live-fire confirmation. Laserlyte Laser Cartridge Trainer for sale at Loftus Firearms.
