Taurus Deputy .45 Long Colt

The Taurus Deputy is a single-action revolver built around a traditional single-action profile and intended for recreational shooting, cowboy action events, and private collections. Chambered in .45 Long Colt and configured with a 5.5-inch barrel and six-round cylinder, the Deputy provides a period-inspired handling experience with modern safety features.

The design pairs a 5.5-inch steel barrel with a black finish and black polymer grip for a straightforward, utilitarian appearance. The revolver uses fixed sights—a front blade and an integral rear notch—for a classic sighting setup, and a transfer-bar safety is incorporated to allow safe carry with a loaded cylinder.
