The tritium front sight is equipped with a proprietary photoluminescent green Glow Dot that absorbs ambient light and glows in low light. The 2-dot tritium blacked-out rear illuminates for proper sight alignment without outshining the front sight, keeping indexing accurate. A BlackNitride surface finish and revised dovetail dimensions round out the upgrades, and the tritium lamp is self-luminous, glowing in low or no light for 12 years.
